PRIMELISTE.COM PRIVACY POLICY
I- Introduction
Welcome to Primeliste.com, a product of YANOU I HOLDINGS SARL based in Douala, Cameroon. First of all, we would like to thank you for the trust you have placed in us by entrusting us with your information, which is important to you.
The privacy policy is a legally binding document created to inform people visiting a website what personal information is collected and how it is kept securely. It therefore serves to strengthen the trust between you (the user) and us (the company) that collects and processes your data. By being transparent and clear, we guarantee to ensure that your data is protected.
This privacy policy has been drafted in compliance with Law No. 2010/012 of 21 December 2010 on cybercrime in Cameroon.
II - Collection and receipt of information
Primeliste may collect and receive data from client users, individual donors and companies.
Customer data: these are people who create their account on primeliste in order to search for a property/unit. They are, among others, potential tenants or lessees.
Account information
- Full name ;
- Email address
- Date and place of birth;
- Telephone number;
-Password
- Country and city.
Those who wish to make a payment on the platform will be asked to provide information such as bank details, credit card details, MTN Mobile Money/Orange Money number and passwords.
For those who wish to make a rental application, they will be asked to provide:
· Proof of identity
· Proof of funds available
Landlord data (individual & company): individuals/companies who create their accounts in order to publish their properties for rent.
Information relating to the landlord account:
- Full name;
- Email address
- Password;
- First name and surname of representative;
- Address, country, town and telephone number.
Those who wish to make a payment on the platform will be asked to provide information such as bank details, credit card details, MTN Mobile Money/Orange Money number and passwords.
Those who wish to make a verification request will be asked for:
· The owners contact details;
· The owners identity document;
· The building permit showing the name of the owner, the construction plans for the property and the location of the property;
· Land documentation showing the owners name (deed of sale, notarial deed);
· Some building receipts showing the owners name;
· Information on the property manager (if this is also the owner, the check will be complete);
· The property managers name and ID (if the property is managed by someone other than the owner);
· Information about the estate agency (RCCM, ANR, Management contract, etc.) if the property is managed by a company.
II-B Use of your information
We use your information for several purposes:
- To identify you
- To send you notifications;
- To enable you to reset your password if you forget it;
- To keep you informed of all primeliste news;
- To detect, prevent and resolve technical problems;
- Provide customer service and support;
- Analyse the use of our service;
- etc.
II-C Retention of your information
Primeliste will keep your data for a maximum period of ten (10) years, in accordance with the instructions of Article 25 of Law No. 2010/012 of 21 December 2010 on cybersecurity and cybercrime in Cameroon.
II-D Data sharing
We will only share your personal information with third parties in the following circumstances:
- With your consent;
- To prevent a serious threat to the personal safety of users of the site or the public.
- If required by law;
- If required for any legal proceedings;
- To prove or protect our legal rights;
- To potential purchasers of this company in the event that we seek to sell the company;

All your information registered on our platform will be stored in our database in a confidential manner. The security of your data is important to us, but please remember that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Although we endeavour to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Primeliste may amend this privacy policy from time to time. Laws, regulations and industry standards change, which may make such changes necessary, or we may make changes to our operations. We will post those changes on this page and encourage you to review our Privacy Policy to stay informed. If we make changes that materially alter your privacy rights, Primeliste will notify you by email or through the Services. If you do not agree with the changes to this privacy policy, you must deactivate your account.
